How Skillwisy turns your notes into practice
Start from the notes you already took. Create quizzes, flashcards, revision sheets and Study Songs, then choose Focus mode or add pets for extra motivation.
Bring your notes
Paste text, upload a PDF or TXT file, or snap a photo of handwritten notes with your phone. Skillwisy reads it and turns it into clean, structured content, any subject, any level.
The AI builds your study set
Skillwisy extracts key concepts, creates practice questions and a study sheet, then checks the questions against your notes. AI can still make mistakes: review the explanations and flag anything that looks wrong.
Practice in short rounds
Short rounds help you recall what you have learned and understand the explanations. Spaced repetition schedules what to review and when. You can also use flashcards or turn notes into Study Songs and practise the lyrics.
Choose your experience
Focus mode keeps your workspace calm and hides the game. With pets, study activities earn Sparks to care for companions that grow over time. Pick your experience when you sign up and switch anytime in Settings.
Why it sticks when re-reading doesn't
Re-reading notes feels productive but fades fast. Skillwisy leans on two of the most robust findings in learning science: retrieval practice (answering questions beats re-reading) and spaced repetition (reviews timed just before you forget). The pet, streaks, and Sparks exist to make you come back for one more short round. The repetition does the rest.
Frequently asked questions
Is Skillwisy free?
You can start free with 2 notebooks and a 15-day trial of the AI study tools, with up to 3 study sets within your allowance. Saved notes, personal flashcards, typing and pets stay available afterwards. See Pricing for the full limits and paid options.
What subjects does it work with?
Any subject you can write notes about: biology, history, law, languages, math theory, professional certifications. If your notes explain it, Skillwisy can quiz you on it.
Where do the questions come from?
The AI generates questions from your notes and checks whether your source material supports the answers. These checks reduce mistakes but cannot eliminate them. Review your notes and the explanation if an answer seems wrong.
What is the Exam Pass?
A one-time $14.99 payment for 30 days of every Pro feature, with no subscription and no automatic renewal. It's built for finals season.
Can I study from my phone?
Yes. Skillwisy is a mobile-first web app you can install on your home screen. You can even photograph paper notes with your phone and turn them into a notebook.
I don't want the pet. Can I turn the game off?
Yes: that's Focus mode. Pick it when you create your account (or toggle it anytime in Settings) and Skillwisy becomes a pure study tool: no pet, no Sparks, no challenges, just study sheets, verified questions, and spaced repetition. Switching back later restores everything.
Try it with your own notes
Try the AI study tools for 15 days. No card needed. The pet game stays free.
