1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Skillwisy. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the date of birth you provide is accurate. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and let us know promptly of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes others' rights.
• Attempt to manipulate, farm, or exploit the points economy, or interfere with the app's security or normal operation.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or access the service by automated means except as expressly permitted.
• Harass, abuse, or harm others, or upload unlawful, hateful, or harmful content.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the notes and materials you submit. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate and provide the app to you, including sending it to our AI provider to generate study materials, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you submit and for having the right to use it.

5. Feedback and suggestions

We welcome your ideas. If you send us a suggestion, idea, feature request, or other feedback about Skillwisy (through the in-app suggestion box or otherwise), you agree that it is given voluntarily and free of any obligation on our part. You grant Skillwisy a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, copy, modify, and build on that feedback for any purpose, and you assign to us all rights in anything we create from it. We are not required to keep feedback confidential, to use it, to compensate you, or to credit you. Please don't send us ideas you are not willing to share on these terms.

6. AI-generated content

Study sheets and questions are generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. They are provided for study assistance only and are not a substitute for professional, medical, legal, or academic advice. Always verify important information against authoritative sources.

7. Virtual items and Sparks

“Sparks,” pets, eggs, food, and other virtual items exist only within Skillwisy. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable. We may adjust, reset, or remove virtual items as needed to operate the app or to address abuse.

8. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans (such as Pro) are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
• One-time purchases (such as an Exam Pass) grant access for the stated period and do not auto-renew.
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• Paid tiers unlock study limits and convenience only, never additional Sparks or pet progress that affect fairness.

9. Termination

You may stop using Skillwisy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the app ends.

10. Disclaimers

Skillwisy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skillwisy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
