My story

Built by a student,
for students.

I'm 13, and this is the story of how I built the study app I wished existed.

The summer Skillwisy began ✨

I'm 13, and I created Skillwisy after finishing the school year with the math medal and the science medal. Even so, I still hated studying.

So I spent my summer break building the app I wished existed: one that turns boring class notes into quizzes and songs. Every correct answer earns Sparks, which students can use to care for their pet.

I built it the way my generation builds: with AI coding tools, plenty of trial and error, and my dad on call whenever I got stuck.

There was no big development team or polished roadmap. I tested each idea against one simple question: would this make me actually want to study one more round?

Because I'm a minor, Skillwisy is operated by my dad's company, Meyandy LLC. But the original idea, product vision, and countless decisions that make Skillwisy fun are mine.

I built Skillwisy to make studying feel easier and more enjoyable for me. Then I opened it to every student, free to start.
